Is the rotation permanent?

Yes. The orientation metadata is permanently embedded into the PDF structure, so when you open the document in Adobe Acrobat, Chrome, or print it, the pages will remain correctly oriented.

Does rotating PDF pages reduce image or text quality?

No. We use lossless structural rotation metadata (`/Rotate` tag in the PDF page tree). The actual text and image streams are not rasterized or compressed.

What if my PDF has existing native rotation?

Our engine detects the starting rotation of every individual page and adds your requested rotation cleanly (e.g. 90° + 90° = 180°), ensuring nothing is overwritten incorrectly.
